Laval Lucas-Perry of Flint-Powers Catholic, Mich., is transfering from Arizona to the
Michigan Wolverines. The Wolverines also lost a player as sophomore wing K'Len Morris of Grand Blanc, Mich., is leaving the program for personal reasons. He played in all 11 games as a reserve this season, averaging 2.2 points and 1.1 rebounds, after missing 28 games as a freshman because of a left shoulder injury.

# Rekalin Sims was dropped by
Fresno State.after a judge dismissed felony robbery charges against the senior forward after ruling that there was insufficient evidence. Sims, who transferred from Kentucky, already missed the Bulldogs' first three games this season because of academic problems. Fresno State Athletic Director Thomas Boeh authorized Sims' dismissal after a review by the school's code of conduct committee.

Although the early signing period for Class 2008 has passed, many programs are still searching for big men. Among the latest prospects are Clayton Vette, who is transfering from Iowa State, Brice Massamba of Henderson-Findlay Prep, Nev., and Will Creekmore, who is leaving Boston University. 6-10 Robby Goldsmith of Melbourne-Eau Gallie, Fla (3.83 GPA) has suddenly drawn interest from fourteen D-1 colleges. During the last four games, he recorded 26 points, six rebounds and four blocks, then 20-15-4, 23-7-3 and 23-10-13 (thirteen). Some players still need to improve qualifying scores and more transfers are expected throughout the season.
