Miles Plumlee headed to Duke
# Super Prospect 6-10 forward
Miles Plumlee of Arden-Christ School, NC., has chosen
Duke. He was recently granted a release from his letter to Stanford following the coaching change. His brother
Mason had already committed to the Blue Devils for Class 2009.

Ex-Duke Taylor King to Villanova
# Former Duke forward
Taylor King of Huntington Beach, Cal/Santa Ana-Mater Dei, Cal., who played in all 34 games this season as a freshman, will transfer to
Villanova. King also considered Southern California and Gonzaga.

Duke captures touted Mason Plumlee
# Coach Mike Krzyzewski of
Duke has landed a Top 100 commitment from 6-11forward
Mason Plumlee of Arden-Christ School, NC., ranked No. 56 in Class 2009. Among many others were Indiana, Wake Forest, Louisville, Stanford, UCLA, Georgetown, Vanderbilt, Michigan, Tennessee and Xavier. His brother, Miles, signed with Stanford in Class 2008.

Boykin to leave Duke
# Sophomore forward Jamal Boykin of Los Angeles-Fairfax, Cal., has decided to leave Duke, school officials have announced. Boykin saw action in the first three games this season, averaging 1.3 points and 4.0 rebounds. He came down with mononucleosis in late November and has missed Duke's last six contests. Boykin saw action in 26 games as a freshman in 2005-06.
