Rivers to Indiana
# Sophomore guard
Jeremiah Rivers of Winter Park, Fla., who played in 34 games this past season, is reportedly transfering from
Georgetown to
Indiana over Georgia Tech. Jeremiah is the son of Boston Celtics head coach and former NBA player Doc Rivers.

Big man DaShonte Riley picks Georgetown
#
Georgetown snared a commitment from Top 100 center
DaShonte Riley of Beverly Hills-Detroit Country Day, Mich., ranked No. 16 overall in Class 2009. Among many others offering the 6-11 prospect were Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Kansas, Kansas State and North Carolina State.

# Freshman forward
Julian Vaughn of Vienna, Va/Oak Hill Academy, Va., is transfering from
Florida State to
Georgetown. He played in 31 games this past season.
Sophomore guard
Jeremiah Rivers of Winter Park, Fla., who played in 34 games this past season, is transfering from Georgetown. Sophomore 6-9 forward
Vernon Macklin of Portsmouth-Norcom, Va/Hargrave MA, Va., recently announced he is transfering from Georgetown to
Florida. He also played in 34 games for the Hoyas last season.

# The nation's top big man, forward/center Greg Monroe of Harvey-Helen Cox, La., ranked No. 2 overall in Class 2008, has committed to Georgetown and coach John Thompson III, over Duke, LSU, Texas and Duke.

Marshall gains transfers from Georgetown, Gonzaga
# Sophomore forward Octavius Spann of College Park-Bannecker, Ga/Georgetown; and graduate guard Pierre Marie Altidor-Cespedes of Montreal, Quebec/Gonzaga, are transfering to Marshall.
Transfers Mookie Pierre and Emmanuel Jones, who were teammates at Riverside CC, Cal., did not qualify and have been released from their commitments to Marshall.
