Cards reward reserve guard Will Scott
# Guard
Will Scott of New York-Collegiate School, NY/Blair Academy, NJ/Cornell., a walk-on transfer for the past two seasons at
Louisville, has been awarded a 2008-09 scholarship for his senior season. Scott played in 27 games as a junior, started one and averaged two points. He will receive the scholarship vacated by forward Derrick Caracter who was declared academically ineligible.

Duquesne lands Melquan Bolding
# Super Prospect guard
Melquan Bolding of Mount Vernon-Archbishop Stepinac, NY/Fitchburg-Notre Dame Prep, Mass., has signed with
Duquesne. He was once headed to Louisville.

Louisville landed a commitment from Top 100 guard
Peyton Siva of Seattle-Franklin, Wash., ranked No. 30 overall in Class 2009, over Washington, Arizona and Kansas, among others.

Melquan Bolding of Fitchburg-Notre Dame Prep, Mass., has recommitted to
Louisville. He had also considered St. John's, Cincinnati, Duquesne and Temple, among others.

Rakeem Buckles of Miami-Pace, Fla., over Miami-Florida, Cincinnati, Florida and Florida State. The Cards recently pledged guard
Mike Marra of Springfield, RI/Northfield-Northfield Mount Herman School, Mass. Among others were UMass, Notre Dame, Providence, Rhode Island and George Washington.
