Chris Richard of Portland-Sunset/Portland-Westview, Ore., who redshirted as a freshman last season at
Richmond, will walk-on to
Oregon State, according to OregonPreps.Com.

Wendell Wright of Lakewood-Mayfair, Cal., who gained a requested release from his signed letter to Loyola Maryland after the coaching change, has signed with
Portland State.

Tommy Brenton of Columbia-River Hill, Md/Hargrave MA, Va., and forward
Danny Carter of London, England, have signed with
Stony Brook.

Michigan guard Jerret Smith to GV State
# Guard
Jerret Smith of Romulus, Mich., who was dismissed by
Michigan, has transfered to D-2
Grand Valley State. That gives the Lakers two former Wolverine guards as
K'Len Morris of Grand Blanc, Mich., who left Michigan voluntarily last December, transferred to GVSU in April.

Wolverines drop guard Jerret Smith
# Michigan has dismissed junior guard Jerret Smith (6-3 195) of Romulus, Mich. He was suspended for academic reasons twice this season and saw action in only five games.

Lucas-Perry leaves Arizona for Michigan
# Freshman guard
Laval Lucas-Perry of Flint-Powers Catholic, Mich., is transfering from Arizona to the
Michigan Wolverines. The Wolverines also lost a player as sophomore wing K'Len Morris of Grand Blanc, Mich., is leaving the program for personal reasons. He played in all 11 games as a reserve this season, averaging 2.2 points and 1.1 rebounds, after missing 28 games as a freshman because of a left shoulder injury.
