Johnnie Harris of Chicago-Vocational, Ill/Chipola CC, Fla; and center/forward
Monquel Pegues of Wilson-Fike, NC/Cape Fear CC, NC., are reportedly transfering from
New Mexico.

# Guard Nathen Garth of Memphis-Hamilton, Tenn., once headed to Minnesota, has committed to New Mexico. He averaged 18 points last season for Dallas-Wilson, Tex.

McDonald picks New Mexico
# Top 100 guard Phillip McDonald of Houston-Cypress Springs, Tex., ranked No. 91 overall in Class 2008, has committed to New Mexico over interest from Oregon, Kansas, Oklahoma, Cincinnati and UConn, among many others, according to TexasHoops.Com.

Big man headed to Lobos for 2008
# Class 2007 forward/center Isaiah Rusher of Houston-Kashmere, Tex., pledged to New Mexico. He will first attend Lenoir-Patterson Prep, NC. Freshman guard David Kanyinda of Albuquerque-Sandia, NM., who played in 18 games for the Lobos last season, will transfer.
