Abercrombie to leave Washington State

Washington State has granted a requested release to redshirt-freshman guard
Thomas Abercrombie of Auckland, New Zealand. Abercrombie, who plans to return to his homeland, played in 12 games last season.

Sauls to transfer from Washington State

Freshman guard
Stephen Sauls of Missouri City-Marshall, Tex/Air Force Prep, Colo., is transfering from
Washington State. He suffered a concussion during practice in January to end his season.
