Ben Hansborough picks Irish
#
Notre Dame has landed sophomore 6-3 guard
Ben Hansborough of Popular Bluff, Mo., who is transfering from Mississippi State. He started 28 of 34 games for the Bulldogs last season and had a 10.5 scoring average. Hansbrough is the younger brother of AP Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough, a forward for North Carolina, and chose the Fighting Irish over Purdue and Oklahoma State.

Mississippi State starting guard leaves

Ben Hansborough, a sophomore guard from Poplar Bluff, Mo., has decided to transfer from
Mississippi State. He played in 30 games this season, started 28 and averaged 10.5 points.

# Twin guards Reginald Delk and Richard Delk of Jackson, North Side, Tenn; plus forward Bernard Rimmer of Greenada, Miss/Bridgton Academy, Maine, are transfering from Mississippi State. Pledging to the Bulldogs is 2007 guard Riley Benock of Brandenburg-Meade County, Kty., who decommitted from William & Mary.
