Class 2007: Rebels hold 12 verbals; First for Pitt, Vols, BYU

# Mississippi has collected 12 Class 2007 verbals and signed Class 2006 offensive lineman Daverin Geralds of Baton Rouge-Scotlandville, La. Among Class 2007 commitments are offensive lineman Alex Williams of New Orleans-Walker, La; offensive lineman Bradley Sowell of Hernando, Miss; defensive lineman Drake Nevis of Marrero-John Ehret, La; running back Johnny Brown of Charleston, Miss; defensive lineman Stanley Porter of Rosedale-West Bolivar, Miss; defensive back Leroy Diggs of Batesville-South Panola, Miss; and defensive lineman Dion Gales of New Orleans-Kennedy, La/Mississippi Gulf Coast CC, Miss. The Rebels recently gained defensive back Jamison Hughes of Oxford, Miss; and linebacker Chris Strong of Batesville-South Panola, Miss.
# Michigan has its second Class 2007 verbal in defensive back Artis Chambers of Ft. Wayne-Snider, Ind.
# Pittsburgh has its first Class 2007 verbal in offensive lineman Chris Jacobson of Pittsburgh-Keystone Oaks, Pa.
# The Tennessee Vols have their first Class 2007 verbal in defensive back/receiver Anthony Anderson of Knoxville/Austin-East, Tenn.
# Clemson has its fifth Class 2007 verbal in offensive lineman David Smith of Greenville, SC.
# BYU has its first Class 2007 verbal in receiver/defensive back Jordan Pendleton of South Jordan-Bingham, Utah.
