# North Carolina State has commitments from defensive back Chris Culliver of Garner, NC; and tight end George Bryan of Wilmington-New Hanover, NC.

# North Carolina has a commitment from defensive back Jonathan Smith of Durham-Hillside, NC.

# West Virginia has a pledge from running back Terrence Kerns of Frederick-Thomas Johnson, Md.

# Wake Forest has a Class 2007 commitment from defensive back John Stamper of Clemmons-West Forsyth, NC.
