# Notre Dame has pledged Top 150 linebacker Steve Paskorz of Pittsburgh-Hampton, Pa., over Michigan, Iowa, Pittsburgh, Virginia, West Virginia, Indiana and Vanderbilt, among others.

# Penn State has pledged linebacker Nathan Stupar of State College, Pa., over Pittsburgh, Boston College, Maryland, Stanford, Rutgers, Virginia and Wake Forest.

# Linebackers Aaron Taliaferro of Gloucester, Va; and Terence Fells-Danzer of Culpeper, Va., have committed to Virginia.

# Auburn has a commitment from defensive back Mike Slade of Tallahassee-Lincoln, Fla.

# Washington pledged tight end Chris Izbicki of Kirkland-Lake Washington, Wash.

# Stanford has a commitment from offensive lineman George Halamandaris of Moorpark, Cal.

# Baylor has a commitment from offensive lineman Hunter Hightower of Richardson-Pearce, Tex.

# Syracuse pledged defensive back Max Suter of Greensburg-Central Catholic, Pa.
