# Florida has commitments from defensive back Ahmad Black, plus offensive linemen twins James Pouncey and LeShawn Pouncey, all from Lakeland, Fla.

# Alabama has a commitment from running back Jamar Taylor of Lakeland, Fla.

# Miami-Florida pledged defensive back Damien Berry of Belle Glade-Glades Central, Fla., over Florida.

# Auburn pledged defensive back/receiver Johnnie Lee Dixon of Belle Glade-Glades Central, Gla., over Florida, Georgia and Oregon.

# Indiana signed defensive lineman Keith Burrus of Indianapolis-Ben Davis, Ind/Coffeyville CC, Kan., for this upcoming season.

# Rutgers pledged huge defensive lineman Wayne Thomas of Nottingham, NJ.

# Vanderbilt pledged linebacker Chris Marve of Memphis-White Station, Tenn.

# TCU pledged linebacker/defensive lineman Kris Gardner of Arlington-Grace Prep, Tex.
