# Tennessee pledged running back/defensive back Daryl Vereen of Huntersville-North Mecklenburg, NC., over South Carolina, North Carolina State and Duke; and defensive back Alonzo Winfield of Winston-Salem/Carver, NC., over South Carolina.

# Pittsburgh pledged receiver/defensive back Dom DeCicco of Jefferson Hills-Thomas Jefferson, Pa.

# North Carolina pledged defensive lineman William Brimfield of Neeses/Hunter-Kinard-Tyler, SC.

# Clemson has a pledge from Class 2008 receiver Marquan Jones of Blythewood, SC., over South Carolina.

# Vanderbilt gained a commitment from receiver Udom Umoh of Fort Valley-Peach County, Ga.
