# Offensive lineman Will Furlong of Deland, Fla., announced for Florida State.

# Florida has gained a pledge from punter Chas Henry of Dallas-East Paulding, Ga.

# Mississippi State has offensive lineman Quentin Saulsberry of Independence, Miss.

# Maryland has defensive lineman Ian Davidson of Alexandria-St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School, Va.

# Baylor gained offensive lineman John Jones of Cedar Hill, Tex.

# Defensive back Tejay Johnson of Garland-South Garland, Tex., announced for TCU.

# Defensive tackle Julian Riley of St. Petersburg-Lakewood, Fla., has been granted a hardship waiver by the NCAA, allowing the transfer from Florida to play immediately this fall for South Florida. Riley transferred in January and, under NCAA guidelines, would have had to redshirt. His mother, Pauline, has lupus and the NCAA can waive the rule in instances of a family illness.
