# Super Prospect quarterback G.J. Kinne of Gilmer, Tex., who passed for 4255 yards and 42 touchdowns as a junior, has committed to Baylor over Florida. Among others were Tennessee and Texas A&M.

# North Carolina gained a pledge from offensive lineman Lamar Milstead of Washington, DC-Coolidge. The Heels now have 10 commitments.

# Linebacker Kendall Smith of Bushnell-South Sumter, Fla., has committed to Florida State.

# Defensive lineman Logan Walls of Dawsonville-Dawson County, Ga., has given his commitment to Georgia Tech.

# Boston College gained a pledge from offensive lineman Arthur Ray of Chicago-Mt. Carmel, Ill., over Iowa State.

# Duke added offensive lineman Kyle Hill of Orlando-Boone, Fla., over Northwestern.

# Miami-Ohio gained a pledge from defensive back Anthony Kokal of Warren-Kennedy, Ohio, who decommitted from Kent State.

# Middle Tennessee State has a commitment from running back Wesley Hale of Morristown-West, Tenn.
