# The Iowa Hawkeyes have a commitment from quarterback Marvin McNutt of Florissant-Hazelwood Central, Mo., over Missouri, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota, Indiana, Kansas and Kansas State.

# Georgia pledged offensive/defensive lineman Clint Boling of Alpharetta-Chattahoochee, Ga.

# Georgia Tech gained linebacker Kyle Jackson of McDonough-Union Grove, Ga.

# Virginia Tech has commitments from defensive lineman Kwamaine Battle of Bailey-Southern Nash, NC; receiver Patrick Terry of South Boston-Halifax County, Va; and tight end/defensive lineman Andrew Lanier of Spartanburg-Dorman, SC.

# Boston College gained defensive back Michael Peterson of Tampa-Jesuit, Fla.

# Missouri has a pledge from defensive back Trey Hobson of Stanley-Blue Valley, Kan.

# TCU pledged defensive back Johnny Fobbs of Fort Worth-Everman, Tex., over Nebraska and SMU.

# East Carolina gained quarterback D.J. McFadden of Charlotte-Independence, NC.

# Eastern Michigan gained quarterback Kyle McMahon of Pontiac-Notre Dame Prep, Mich.
