# Virginia Tech has verbals from tight end/offensive lineman Greg Nosal of Virginia Beach-Kellam, Va; and defensive lineman Justin Young of Germantown-Northwest, Md.

# Auburn has gained defensive lineman Josh Chapman of Hoover, Ala.

# Northwestern has verbals from tight end Cameron Joplin of Ann Arbor-Pioneer, Mich; and defensive lineman Vincent Browne of Lisbon-Anderson, Ohio.

# Defensive lineman Ryan Douglass of Leander, Tex., picked Baylor over Missouri and Oklahoma State. The Bears have 21 commitments.

# Kansas State has gained its 20th commitment in tight end Jeremy Mack of Blue Springs-South, Mo.

# Kansas has gained linebacker Drew Dudley of College Station-A&M Consolidated, Tex.

# Receiver/defensive back Alan Vanderink of Hiram-Manuta Crestwood, Ohio, announced for Kent State.

# Akron has gained a verbal from athlete Gary Pride of Cincinnati-Colerain, Ohio.
