QB Tyrod Taylor to VT; A&M, NC, Pur, TCU, Kty, WF, Conn

# One of the nation's top quarterback prospects, Tyrod Taylor of Hampton, Va., has announced for Virginia Tech over Florida. Among many others were North Carolina State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Penn State.

# North Carolina has gained a pledge from offensive lineman Cameron Holland of Pittsburgh-Perry Traditional, Pa., over Pittsburgh.

# Texas A&M has its 12th commitment in tight end Frank Avery of Galveston-Ball, Tex.

# Purdue signed defensive back Terrell Vinson of Irvine, Cal/Wyoming/Saddleback CC, Cal., for this upcoming season.

# Defensive back Jeremy Kerley of Hutto, Tex., has announced for TCU.

# Kentucky has gained a pledge from receiver/defensive back Duran Jefferson of Covington-Holmes, Kty.

# Wake Forest has pledged receiver Jordan Williams of Jacksonville-Raines, Fla.

# UConn has pledged receiver Kashif Moore of Burlington-Burlington Township, NJ.
