# Touted defensive lineman Nick Jenkins of Wheaton-Good Counsel, Md., has committed to Virginia over Boston College, Maryland, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Penn State, among many others.

# Georgia Tech has pledged quarterback Steven Threet of Adrian, Mich., over Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina State, Stanford and Wisconsin, among others.

# Boston College has pledged defensive back Dan Mulrooney of Waterbury-Holy Cross, Conn.

# UConn gained quarterback Cody Endres of Washington-Trinity, Pa; offensive lineman Gary Bardzak of Pottsville, Pa; and linebacker CJ Marck of Fairless Hills-Pennsbury, Pa.

# Baylor has its 16th verbal in defensive lineman Jacody Coleman of Beaumont-Westbrook, Tex.

# UTEP landed defensive lineman Odrick Ray of Athens, Tex.
