# Top 150 defensive back Gary Gray of Columbia-Richland Northeast, SC., has reopened his commitment to South Carolina. He is now also considering Notre Dame.

# Virginia Tech gained pledges from offensive lineman William Alvarez of Woodridge-Hylton, Va; running back Darren Evans of Indianapolis-Warren Central, Ind; running back Josh Oglesby of Garner, NC; and receiver Danny Coale of Lexington-Episcopal, Va.

# North Carolina picked up commitments from defensive backs DaNorris Searcy of Decatur-Towers, Ga; and Fonterrian Ingram of Atlanta-McNair, Ga.

# Georgia Tech pledged defensive back/receiver Willie White of Kingsland-Camden County, Ga.

# Oklahoma State pledged receiver Damien Davis of Mart, Tex; and linebacker Marcus Richardson of Seguin, Tex.

# Running back/defensive lineman Nate Schiccatano of Coal Township-Southern Columbia, Pa., a graduate of Notre Dame who was on the Irish roster for three seasons, intends to play for Temple during 2006, contingent on his being accepted to its graduate school. A new NCAA rule gives athletes who have graduated with eligibility remaining the right to play at another school if they are in graduate school. He played in two games for the Irish during 2005.
