Evridge to Wis; ASU, Vandy, WVa, VT, USF

# Quarterback Allan Evridge of Papillion-LaVista, Neb., who started six games last season, is transfering from Kansas State to Wisconsin.

# Arizona State has a commitment from offensive lineman Michael Marcisz of Livermore-Granada, Cal.

# Vanderbilt pledged quarterback Larry Smith of Prattville, Ala., over Louisville.

# West Virginia has a commitment from athlete PJ Shirdan of Drexel Hill-Monsignor Bonner, Pa.

# Virginia Tech has a commitment from athlete DJ Thomas of Ashland-Patrick Henry, Va. He is expected to attend prep school after his senior season and become part of Class 2008.

# South Florida has a commitment from defensive lineman Kevin Dixon of Sebring, Fla/Garden City CC, Kan.
