# Florida State gained a commitment from Top 150 defensive back Dionte Allen of Orchard Lake-St. Mary's, Mich., over Miami-Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Southern California, among many others.

# Ohio State has pledged Super Prospect receiver Taurian Washington of Orchard Lake-St. Mary's, Mich., over Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois and Penn State, among others.

# Florida pledged Super Prospect athlete John Jones of Sarasota-Booker, Fla.

# Oklahoma State has a pledge from defensive back Isaac Madison of Dallas-Carter, Tex.

# Defensive lineman Tyreek Spain of Ambler-Wissahickon, Pa., has committed to Temple.

# Houston has pledges from offensive lineman Chris Thompson of Hitchcock, Tex; and defensive back AJ Edwards of Brenham, Tex.

# Northern Illinois has a pledge from linebacker Dan Hilbert of Plainfield-South, Ill.

# UTEP gained a commitment from receiver/defensive back Ervin Jefferson of Houston-Furr, Tex.

# East Carolina gained a commitment from running back Daronte McNeil of Elizabeth City-Northeastern, NC., over Louisville and Virginia.

# Utah gained a commitment from offensive lineman Louis Finner of Plano-East, Tex.
