# Iowa State gained a commitment from offensive lineman Grant Garner of Mesquite-North Mesquite, Tex.

# LSU has a commitment from kicker Andrew Crutchfield of Concord-Northwest Cabarrus, NC.

# Northwestern has a pledge from linebacker Bryce McNaul of Eden Prairie, Minn.

# Illinois gained defensive back Marcus Thomas of Chicago-Morgan Park, Ill.

# Indiana has a commitment from linebacker/running back Darrius Johnson of Highland Park, Mich.

# Oregon has a pledge from linebacker Brandon Hanna of Coeur D'Alene-Lake City, Idaho.

# TCU has a pledge from offensive lineman Spencer Thompson of Plainview, Tex.

# Northern Illinois has a pledge from quarterback Chandler Harnish of Norwell, Ind.

# UConn gained running back Robbie Frey of Lehighton, Pa., who rushed for 2275 yards as a junior.
