OL Wilson picks Trojans over Irish; Md, VT, Vand, Tenn, ECU

# One of the nation's top offensive line prospects, James Wilson of St. Augustine-Nease, Fla., has announced for the USC Trojans over Notre Dame. Among many others were Alabama, Clemson, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Miami-Florida and Ohio State.

# Top 150 receiver/tight end Lansford Watson of Brooklyn-Lincoln, NY., has chosen Maryland over North Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Miami-Florida, Southern California, Penn State, Boston College and Rutgers.

# Virginia Tech now has 23 commitments, including linebacker Barquell Rivers of Wadesboro-Anson, NC; defensive lineman Courtney Prince of Brandywine-Gwynn Park, Md; and linebacker Hunter Ovens of Sarasota-Cardinal Mooney, Fla.

# Defensive lineman TJ Greenstone of Suwanee-Collins Hill, Ga., picked Vanderbilt.

# Class 2008 tight end Aaron Douglas of Maryville, Tenn., committed to Tennessee.

# Running back Ben Herlocker of Charlotte-Catholic, NC., committed to East Carolina.
