# Super Prospect tight end Aron White of Columbia-Rock Bridge, Mo., has picked the Georgia Bulldogs over Arizona State and Missouri. Among others were Iowa, California, Clemson, Kansas State and Nebraska.

# Northwestern has a commitment from defensive back/receiver David Arnold of Copley, Ohio.

# West Virginia has a commitment from defensive lineman Julian Miller of Columbus-Beechcroft, Ohio.

# Maryland has a commitment from punter/kicker Travis Baltz of Whitehouse-Anthony Wayne, Ohio.

# Texas Tech pledged linebacker/defensive back Bront Bird of Odessa-Permian, Tex.

# Cincinnati pledged running back Scott Johnson of Middletown, Ohio.

# Northern Illinois pledged running back Alan Smith of Naperville-Neuqua Valley, Ill.
