# Louisville pledged kicker Brandon Walker of Findlay, Ohio, over Pittsburgh.

# Auburn has a commitment from kicker Wes Byrum of Fort Lauderdale-St. Thomas Aquinas, Fla.

# Missouri has pledges from defensive lineman/runnng back Sherman Golden of Affton, Mo; and defensive lineman Jason Townson of St. Louis-Hazelwood East, Mo/Butler CC, Kan/College of the Sequoias, Cal.

# West Virginia gained a Class 2008 commitment from offensive lineman Josh Jenkins of Parkersburg, WVa.

# Iowa State has a commitment from running back Jamicah Bass of Longwood-Lyman, Fla/El Camino CC, Cal.

# UTEP landed offensive lineman Joseph Klerekoper of Longview-Pine Tree, Tex.
