USC's Moody picks Gators

By Bill Hodge - August 27, 2007

# Former USC running back Emmanuel Moody has announced that he will transfer to Florida.

Moody (6-1 205) from Coppell, Tex., picked the Gators over North Carolina. He also considered Texas and Oklahoma State.

The Trojans' second-leading rusher last season as a freshman, Moody ran for 459 yards and two touchdowns, averaging a team-high 5.8 yards per rush. A former prep All-American, he said he left the program because of the depth at his position, citing a "business decision" and his need to be the featured back. USC recruited three more All-American running backs in Class 2007.
