Gabbert, Woods, Parish drop Huskers

By Bill Hodge - October 25, 2007

# Citing the turmoil and uncertainty of the coaching staff, Top 150 quarterback Blaine Gabbert of Ballwin-Parkway West, Mo., has decommitted from Nebraska. Gabbert had committed to the Cornhuskers in May, but recently made an unofficial visit to Missouri to watch a game between the Tigers and Texas Tech. He has yet to schedule any official visits.

In addition, receiver DJ Woods of Strongville, Ohio, and defensive lineman Darius Parish of Wichita-North, Kan., have also withdrawn pledges to the Huskers.
