ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ned Hirsch is one of the country's most well-traveled college basketball fans. A resident of Rockville Centre, N.Y., the 54-year-old lawyer's lifelong mission is to see every NCAA Division I men's basketball team in person. Ned's first live game was Army vs. Cincinnati during the 1971 National Invitational Tournament at Madison Square Garden. Since that game he has traveled extensively, seeing 231 out of 341 Division I men's teams in person, although he has never attended a Final Four...until now.
