MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The crowd at the Bradley Center began to chant, "We want Tommy" and with 1:07 they got him. After the team had hit the 100-point mark, and grown an insulting lead over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, coach Tom Crean felt he could insert senior walk-on guard Tommy Brice.
Then the crowd changed its tune to "This is our town." Enough said.
MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- It took Marquette a few minutes to break free from Milwaukee, but thanks to the Golden Eagles' dynamic duo -- Jerel McNeal and Dominic James -- Marquette was able to head into the locker room with a comfortable 50-33 lead.
Milwaukee, Wis. -- For the first time since 1998, Marquette and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee will meet to settle cross-town bragging rights. Few, though, believe Milwaukee will have much to brag about when the night is done.
