Rice Running Easy

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Buffalo is overmatched trying to stop Ray Rice as the diminutive back scampers, stutters and struts his way into the endzone. Rutgers is now up 14-0 after another Rice touchdown run and the Bulls clearly have shown they have no answer for stopping Rice.

Rice capped a 12 play, 80 yard scoring drive with his 12 yard dash that featured a nice juke to the left to give Rutgers a comfortable lead as we quickly approach the end of the first quarter. Buffalo hasn't sniffed a scoring opportunity and Rice has carried the ball eight times for 68 yards and 2 TDs.

We saw Rutgers debut a flee-flicker play that worked well, other than the fact the pass - a beatiful deep ball from QB Mike Teel - wasn't caught. We also saw Rice catch a pass out of the backfield and turnit into a nice little gain. With his moves and speed, there's no reason why he can't be a huge weapon for Teel and the Scarlet Knights, especially when Rutgers runs some play-action.
