Buffs switch scores

BOULDER, Colo.

On a four minute, 8 play drive the Buffs went 69 yards to get their first score of the game with 8:26 left to go in the first half. Running back Hugh Charles took a hand-off and made good on a huge hole created by true freshman right tackle, Ryan Miller for 25 yard scamper to the endzone. The Buffs scoring drive was the first action for the young offensive lineman.

On a controversial play on the ensuing kickoff, the Sooners escaped with a touchback. Juaquin Iglesias caught the ball then ran parallel with the goal line before touching it and taking a knee. The play was reviewed but was ruled in not in the field of play and thus not a safety for the Buffs.

The Sooners would then immediately drive 80 yards in three plays to take back the lead 14-7 with 7:37 left in the second quarter. OU running back did one better of Charles, running for a 34-yard touchdown.
