End of First Quarter

LEXINGTON, Ky. - At the end of the first quarter in the Governor's Cup, Kentucky leads Louisville 13-7.

All things considered, the Cardinals can't feel all that bad. They turned the ball over the first two times they touched it, spotting the Cats 10 early points. Louisville rallied for a late first quarter touchdown to pull within one score.

UK has pushed the ball across midfield, and the Cats would love to tack on to their lead.

Note - Early in the first quarter, UK quarterback Andre Woodson eclipsed the previous Southeastern Conference record for completed passes without an interception. Woodson supplanted Georgia's David Greene.
