Michigan-Oregon: Wrapping it up

ANN ARBOR, Mich - Oregon scored the game's final 36 points to leave the Big House with a convincing 39-7 win.

Here are my post-game awards:

Player of the Game: Dennis Dixon. The Oregon quarterback killed Michigan both on the ground and through the air. He threw for 292 yards and gained 76 more with his feet.

Play of the Game: Dixon's fake statue of liberty. I described it in an earlier post, but it was beautiful — at least for Ducks fans. It was just one of the highlights in a game where Oregon thoroughly dominated Michigan's defense for the tune of 624 yards.

Following the game, Mike hart guaranteed victory next week against Notre Dame. His teammate Jamar Adams said that since it's been said, that the team will rally behind Hart. Carr said he isn't surprised by anything Hart says. Carr also said that Chad Henne is "very very doubtful" for next week's game, meaning the Ryan Mallett era could be jumpstarted a year earlier than most expected. Carr didn't elaborate on why Henne probably won't be playing.
