Pregame in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium is filling up, but hopefully the fans didn't have as difficult of a time as we did trying to make it into the game. It took the three of us from the Kernel about an hour to find, and settle into, the press area. It was clear we were from Lexington.
Anyway, to the game.

Kentucky comes into the contest at No. 21 in the Associated Press poll after last weekend's home victory over Louisville (that doesn't look quite as strong today after the Cards fell flat against Syracuse). Arkansas dropped out of the polls this week after falling in a thriller on the road against Alabama.
Most of the pre-game talk has surrounded Arkansas running back Darren McFadden and Kentucky quarterback Andre Woodson, and rightfully so, but this game will likely come down to their supporting casts. McFadden's going to get his 150-200 yards and Woodson his 300, so a big play from somewhere else could be the difference. Also, both defenses have struggled at times. Expect a score similar to the contest each team played a week ago.
It's still ten minutes from kickoff (at a deceptively cool 85 degrees) and already the 'Woo Pig Sooie' chants are giving me a headache. Or maybe it was the 11 hour car ride. Either way, it's time to play football.
