Sound And Fury, Signifying Nothing...For Now

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Keon Lattimore has shown himself to be more than capable of holding his own next to Rice, with some big runs on Maryland's first drive, but so far, it's all for naught.

A big defensive stand by the Scarlet Knights - highlighted by Maryland quarterback Jordan Steffy getting the stuffing knocked out of him on third down by about four red jerseys - culminated in a 51-yard field goal attempt by Obi Egekeze, who sen the ball wide left.

Lattimore looked good, and if he has some more big runs like his 17-yarder on the Terps' first offensive play, he'll have a say in this one.
