Tenuta causing confusion, havoc

As ineffective as Tech's blitz schemes were in the first quarter, they are becoming invaluable in the second quarter. Harper is taking shots seemingly on every pass play, and was sacked three times in a row before the last drive came to an end.

There has been a key injury for the Tigers on offense that will only make things worse. Clemson preseason all-ACC left tackle Barry Richardson hobbled off of the field on the last series. He is the most experienced player on the Tigers line, and they can't afford to be without him for long.

The Tigers running game has been completely ineffective so far, and it does not appear that head coach Tommy Bowden is going to try very hard to make it work as he is relying on quarterback Cullen Harper to carry the team.
