Better Late Than Never

PISCATAWAY, NJ - The USF defense picked an excellent time to force its first turnover of the game. With just over 4 minutes remaining on the clock, linebacker Brouce Mompremier got his helmet right on the ball cradled in Ray Rice's arm and forced the fumble, which Ben Moffit was in perfect position to recover. The turnover gives the Bulls a first down at the Rutgers 40 down three points with 4:09 on the clock, more than enough time to tie the game or go downfield and win it, as long as they remain turnover free and find a way to run through the suddenly stout Rutgers defense. All of that, however, is easier said than done, especially after having played a tough, rough-and-tumble 56 minutes of football already.
