Fans' blood already boiling

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The game is still a few minutes from starting, but the animosity between fan bases is already high. The heavy throng of Tigers' fans chanted Geaux Tigers! during the UK band's playing of "My Old Kentucky Home," the de facto state song. That prompted boos and jeers from UK fans, and was followed by an especially loud applause at the end of the song.

The officials are on the field, and the starting lineups will soon be announced. We'll update the blog after each quarter, and with any major plays or news. Still no word on the status of UK starting running back Rafael Little. UK coach Rich Brooks said Thursday that Little was "very questionable" with a thigh bruise. Brooks called Little a game-time decision.

Speaking of game-time...
