It's a beautiful day for a miracle...

LEXINGTON, Ky. - That seemed to be the sentiment among Kentucky fans as I headed into the stadium today, as the Wildcats attempt their first win over a top-ranked foe since 1964. If not for a miracle, it's at least a beautiful day for football. It's about 70 degrees here and the sun is shining in a cloudless blue sky.

The majority of the crowd must already be here and parked and tailgaiting, because my commute to the stadium was far quicker than usual. I expected just the opposite with this game sold out and this city fired up. Another thing I've noticed - lots of purple and gold around town. Quite a few LSU supporters were outside tailgating as I walked in. More impressively, hundreds of LSU supporters were out at Keeneland yesterday. They know there's not much better in this town than hitting the beautiful horse track on Friday and then watching the nation's top game of the day on a perfect Saturday afternoon.
