Nothing special about the special teams

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue's special teams was supposed to be the one area where they had an edge over the Buckeyes. The Boilers are among the nation's leaders in kick returns, but so far, AJ Trapasso has boomed both kickoffs through the end zone to negate that.

Meanwhile, Purdue P Jared Armstrong has shanked both of his punts. He got lucky with a good bounce on his first one, but the second one bounced backwards and set the Buckeyes up at the Purdue 43.

I know it's early, but this is a key defensive series for Purdue coming up.
