Now Where Have I Seen That Before?

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Credit Brian Kelly with going for the jugular on the road, but credit Greg Schiano with knowing how to play the game.

The Bearcats went for it on fourth-and-1 at the Rutgers 49, and appeared to have it before it was realized that Greg Schiano had called timeout right before the snap.

Now, where have we seen that before

Bradley Glatthaar didn't have the same luck the next time around, and Rutgers took over on downs.

In an inauspicious beginning, the Bearcats were flagged for a false start on their first play from scrimmage, and then again on third down. It wound up not mattering, though, as Ben Mauk was able to find Marshwan Gilyard for a 23-yard reception.

Not a strong start for the Bearcats, although they showed what potential is there.
