Knee Leads to TD

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - It started with a knee, and it ended with an inch.

Those were the odd bookends to BC's latest touchdown drive, putting the Eagles on top of Notre Dame 13-0.

A one-yard Andre Callender touchdown run that had to be reviewed and found the ball barely crossing the goal line might not have happened if it wasn't for an odd play on the preceding punt. Notre Dame punter Geoff Price was ruled to have his knee down when he knelt to snag a low-snap, turning the ball over to the Eagles at Notre Dame's 41-yard line.

Though Callender got his second score of the game, Matt Ryan accounted for 40 of the drive's 41 yards on 5 straight completions. Ryan's Heisman bid looks to be improving yet again: he's 18 of 26 for 270 yards, though he doesn't have a touchdown.
