Running Wild

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - A three-yard run by Bradley Glatthar puts Cincinnati in the end zone, and it's a 17-14 ballgame.

The Bearcats went 46 yards in eight plays in 3:01 for the score, on a drive started by a Mike Teel interception. Points off of turnoves are tough to take, and this next drive will be key for Rutgers.

Cincinnati has gotten the better of the ground game thus far, which could help a lot if this one stays close. 50 yards on 16 carriers in the first half isn't much to right home about, but when the opposition has 27 yards on 22 carries, it looks a fair sight better.

Of course, there's plenty of football left to play, and I wouldn't write off Rice getting going just yet. I don't think much would surprise me the way this has gone.

It's everything you'd expect No. 20 vs. No. 21 to be.
