Sound and Fury, Signifying Nothing

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Seven minutes and 44 seconds have passed in this game, and there are no points on the board.

But don't think for a second that things have been boring here in New Jersey.

After Rutgers failed to move the ball on its last posession, Jeremy Ito was forced to punt inside his own end zone, and the Bearcats started at the Rutgers 23 after a nice return by Haruki Nakamura. However, Mauk proceeded to throw three consecutive incomplete passes, setting up a 40 yard field goal attempt by Jake Rodgers, who missed the kick.

Does anyone want to win this game?
