Texas-OU: Bradford catches fire

DALLAS, TX -- Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford just broke up a defensive struggle by taking the Sooners on an 84-yard TD drive.

After hitting several big passes, Bradford capped off the drive with a 1-yard TD pass to TE Jermaine Gresham.

At the end of the first quarter, the Sooners lead 7-0.

Texas and OU each had two possessions that went nowhere, and the Sooners' third try didn't look too promising either. But facing a 3rd-and-14 from his own 12, Bradford hit Malcolm Kelly right at the chains to get a new set of downs. Bradford then hit Gresham on a long pass that was nullified by a holding penalty, but one play later he found Juaquin Iglesias for a 39-yard gain. On the very next play he connected with Malcolm Kelly on a beautiful 41-yard post pattern that moved the ball to the one-yard line.

After an unsuccessful running attempt, Bradford found Gresham wide open in the back of the end zone.

OU has outgained Texas 121-38 and held the ball for 9:23 of the first quarter.

Bradford is 7-10 for 110 yards.
