Who Was That To?

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Matt Grothe may have just given the ball away. On a third and 15 from the Rutgers 45, he and wide receiver Jessie Hester were on two very different pages and as a wide open Hester watched the pass intended for him sail off the fingertips of a nearby Rutgers defender, he must have seen the ballgame slipping away, too. Hester was all alone in the middle of the field with plenty of room to turn and get the first down - what route Grothe thought he was going to run is anyone's guess, but it's clear from the wild gesticulations of Hester as he approached Grothe on the sideline and he thought the QB in the wrong and himself in the right.
