All he does is catch touchdowns

NORMAN, Okla. - Still, Oklahoma can't run the ball, even with three very good running backs. On the other hand . . .

The Sooners are back in the end zone and once again it was a Sam Bradford to Jermaine Gresham connection. This time. 13 yards. Gresham entered the game tied for the Sooner single season lead for touchdown catches by a tight end, 6, with Trent Smith. Now he has 8. Truthfully, 6 was kind of a shabby record. More interesting, however, is Gresham's penchant for touchdowns.

He only has two catches today, less than a minute into the second quarter. Both for touchdowns. He did the same thing against Texas. Two catches, two scores. At this very moment, eight of his 25 catches have been worth six points.

Note: Though OU is going nowhere on the ground (116 total yards, 94 through the air) Texas A&M is going nowhere period. The Aggies had 5 yards, total, at the quarter, thanks to an 8-yard sack on their second possession. With 13:23 to play in the half, the number has risen to 19.
