BC scores; too little, too late?

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Boston College has scored, to cut its deficit to 14.

But you have to wonder, with just 7:26 remaining, is there enough time for the Eagles to score twice, while stopping Maryland.

The Terrapins have marched down the field at will, and they have the ball at their own 35 right now.

If Maryland holds on, BC's national title hopes will officially be over, and next week's game at Clemson will be an absolute must-win.

Certainly a gloomy night up north in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
