Big drive for the Tigers: Mizzou leads 7-0

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Tensions are high here at Arrowhead. Missouri just scored on a one-yard pass to tight end Martin Rucker on fourth-and-goal.

Missouri marched 78 yards in just under four minutes against an overmatched Jayhawk defense. Missouri running back Tony Temple has been the Tigers' most consistent weapon so far, as he put together a 23-yard run and a six-yard reception. Missouri has tried to establish Jeremy Maclin but Kansas' linebacker James Holt has done a great job keeping him under wraps. As the second quarter gets under way here in Kansas City, the Jayhawks are looking for an offensive boost, trailing 7-0.
